Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information FreeHandyly (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit our website and how it is used. By using the site you agree to this policy.
Information you enter into our tools
Our tools, including the Word & Character Counter and the Percentage Calculator, process what you enter directly in your browser. We do not upload, store or read the text or numbers you type into them.
Information we collect automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider and servers may record standard technical data in server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages visited and the date and time of the request. We use this data to keep the site secure, diagnose errors and understand overall usage. Logs are kept only as long as needed for these purposes.
Information you send us
If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and message. We use it only to respond to you and to improve the site, and we do not sell it.
Cookies & advertising
FreeHandyly is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can also opt out of many third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some site features may be affected.
- Where the law requires it, for example for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before cookies are used for personalised ads.
To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. We do not control third-party cookies, and their use is governed by those companies’ own privacy policies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents may also have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what is collected and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information that you give us. To make a request, contact us and mention “Privacy request”.
Children’s privacy
FreeHandyly is a general-audience site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security and third-party links
We use HTTPS and standard safeguards to protect the site, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Our pages may link to third-party sites; we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it last changed. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
